Loading Receipts

How can I load a paper receipt?
You can email a photo of the receipt to receipts@paywise.co.za.

How can I load an email receipt?
You can forward the email receipt to receipts@paywise.co.za.

How can I automatically forward email receipts?

How do you know which receipts are mine?
We use the email address that sends us the receipt to assign the correct account.

Can I send a receipt from a different email address?
Currently you can only send a receipt from your registered account email address.

Supported Receipts

Which physical store receipts do you support?
We are currently testing support for standard receipts from Checkers, Dis-Chem, Pick n Pay, Woolworths, Game, and Makro stores.  Please note that PayWise is an independent receipt processing service, and we are not affiliated with these businesses.

Which email receipts do you support?
We are currently testing support for email receipts from Checkers Sixty60, Pick n Pay asap!, Woolies Dash and Makro stores.  Please note that PayWise is an independent receipt processing service, and we are not affiliated with these businesses.

Reports

What kind of reporting do you support?
We are currently testing basic aggregate reporting and analysis capabilities, and an export to CSV / Excel capability.

What features do you plan on implementing?
In the future we plan on cross-mapping products between different stores (i.e. the same products should be aggregated together even if different stores have different names for them), as well as a product hierarchy (e.g. it doesn't matter which brand of eggs you buy, you just want to see how much you spend on eggs).

My Data

Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored on a central server.  This allows us to make your data available over multiple channels (desktop, tablet, smartphone), as well as support emailed receipts.

How can I delete my account?
Please email us at hi@paywise.co.za and we will delete your account and associated data.

Can I get a copy of my data?
Please email us at hi@paywise.co.za and we will make a machine readable copy of your data available for download.
